LUCID Alloy
A high-performance alloy wheel and iron fallout remover designed to dissolve the embedded metallic contamination created by brake dust and road use.
Introduction
A high-performance alloy wheel and iron fallout remover designed to dissolve the embedded metallic contamination created by brake dust and road use. Its pH-balanced, thickened formulation clings to the surface, allowing it to remain in contact with contamination for more effective cleaning.
As ALLOY reacts with iron particles, it produces a visible red bleeding effect, making it easy to see the product working. It is suitable for factory-finished alloy wheels and can also be used for targeted iron decontamination on gloss paintwork. Supplied ready to use in a 500ml bottle and designed and manufactured in the UK.
Key Features
- Powerful iron and brake-dust remover
- Visible colour-changing reaction
- Thickened formula for improved surface contact
- Suitable for wheels and gloss paintwork
- Pleasant cherry fragrance
- Ready-to-use 500ml formula
Why You’ll Love It
Brake dust can become deeply embedded in a wheel’s finish and may not be fully removed by conventional shampoo. ALLOY chemically reacts with these metallic particles, loosening contamination that would otherwise require aggressive scrubbing.
Its thicker consistency and fast reaction make it particularly useful on intricate wheel designs, where contamination collects around spokes, wheel nuts and recessed areas.
How to Use
- Ensure the wheel or painted surface is cool and out of direct sunlight.
- Rinse away loose dirt before application.
- Spray ALLOY evenly over the contaminated surface.
- Allow the product to dwell and react. It will begin to turn red as it contacts iron particles.
- Agitate stubborn areas with a suitable soft detailing brush if required.
- Do not allow the product to dry.
- Rinse thoroughly with a pressure washer or a strong flow of clean water.
Always test first on an inconspicuous area. Extra care should be taken with bare, polished, anodised, damaged or non-factory wheel finishes. Follow the vehicle manufacturer’s guidance before using around carbon-ceramic braking systems.
Perfect For
Performance cars, frequently driven vehicles and intricate alloy wheels affected by heavy brake-dust contamination.
Pro Tips
Clean one wheel at a time to maintain complete control over the dwell time. For heavily contaminated wheels, a second controlled application is safer than allowing the first application to dry.
